Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President Amit Shah made it clear to the party leaders from Telangana that the party will go alone in the ensuing general elections in the State, he said to the visiting party delegation headed by the BJP state president K Laxman when they called him at Delhi.

Amit Shah reportedly made it clear that the party will contest all the 119 assembly and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana without entering into an alliance with any party. He expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of State BJP unit. He said BJP’s position in Telangana was better than the main opposition Congress party.

Amit Shah said that the BJP has strong chances of winning the ensuing elections in the State and asked them to intensify their efforts. The State leaders also complained to Amit Sha that while they were fighting against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government, some Union Ministers have been repeatedly and openly praising the State government schemes. #KhabarLive
