Going by the reports in almost all sections of media, senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao will not be inducted into the state cabinet during its expansion by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The reason, as speculated in the media, is that Harish Rao might be forced to contest the coming Lok Sabha elections from Medak, so that there would be no hurdles in the way of KCR’s son and TRS working president K T Rama Rao to become the next chief minister.

However, Telangana Congress working president A Revanth Reddy has a different reasoning for Harish Rao being denied a cabinet berth by his uncle.

According to Revanth, during the recent assembly elections, Harish Rao had been in touch with Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah.

“His personal secretary himself recorded the conversation between Harish and Amit Shah and handed the audio tapes over to KCR. That is precisely why the TRS chief has started sidelining his nephew,” Revanth said.

The PCC working president said there were many other reasons for KCR ignoring Harish in the cabinet expansion.

“During his stint as irrigation minister, Harish Rao had stolen Rs 1000 crore which was allocated for the construction of irrigation projects like Mid Maneru, Gourelli and Thota Palli. The money was spent during elections without the knowledge of KCR,” Revanth alleged. #KhabarLive
